What founders ask before leaving Bubble.

Will I lose data?

No silent data loss. Every record is checked by ID against Bubble, missing fields are never wiped, and relationships and lists are kept. It only counts as done when everything matches.

Will my users' private data leak?

Privacy rules become database security, tested as an allowed user, a denied user and a logged-out visitor. Private files like ID documents and contracts stay private.

Will my app still work the same?

Workflows run step by step and stop on failure, just like in Bubble. Logins, payments, emails and plugins get real replacements, never silent gaps.

Can my users still log in?

Accounts move over, with a plan for how users claim them, because Bubble doesn't export passwords.

Is it safe to run?

It never changes your Bubble app. It stops and asks before deleting data, emailing users, charging money or overwriting code you've edited.

Does it change my Bubble app?

No. The scripts only read your app and write reports, SQL and mappings locally. Your agent stops and asks before anything risky, like deleting data, emailing users or calling live services.

Which agents work with it?

It works with AI coding agents that load skills. The skills are Markdown files and the scripts are standard-library Python, so nothing is tied to one tool.

Can I migrate just the data?

Yes. Ask your agent to migrate the data, a single feature or the whole app. The data migration skill covers your database, users, files and privacy rules.

What do I need?

An AI coding agent that loads skills, Python 3.11+, Bubble MCP access or a .bubble export, and a Supabase project or PostgreSQL database.

Is this an automatic converter?

No. The skills guide your own agent through the migration. You run it, review the output and make the app-specific calls.

Do I get updates?

Releases are versioned and each one ships with a changelog. You download the package from your unbub.dev dashboard.
